Candy Corn! One of the season’s must-have candies...You either are a lover of them or not, and I am a lover of candy corn...SO I created these “TWO-TONED CANDY CORN CUPAKES” to represent my love of these sweet charms of Halloween.
I share with you a fun and simple way to create a “two-toned” look to make them a double treat with an extra special touch

The cutest cupcakes for Halloween lovers at any age.
Candy Corn Cupcakes
Preheat oven to 350ºF
Place decorative cupcake cups into muffin tins.
1 box (15.25 ounces) white cake mix
Food coloring (follow directions to make orange color)
2 teaspoons orange extract
Prepare cake mix in mixing bowl according to package directions using whole eggs.
Stir in orange extract and food coloring.
Spoon batter evenly into muffin cups.
Bake, 20 minutes or until done. Let cool.
1 cup white canned frosting
1 cup orange decorating icing
Decorative sprinkles and candy corn
*Spoon white and orange frostings alternately into pastry bag fitted with star tip. Use to pipe frosting onto cupcakes. Decorate with Halloween sprinkles and candy corn.
Makes 24 cupcakes.
*TIP: This will create a two-toned look.
TIP: Can also use food coloring or gels to color white icing to make it orange.
